Recap of last few months

Well, since my last post, I am sad to say that Chin Chin passed away :( She put up a corageous fight, but her liver was too far gone :( She is in a much better place now, I am sure of that!
Also, Cruiser, my 11 year old Rottie, Passed away in June :( He was diagnosed with a nasal tumor. It had spread to other parts of his body so it was too late for a recovery.. I made the heartbreaking decision to have him put down. I was with him to the very end.. I am sure he was greeted by Chin Chin and my other pets on the other side of the rainbow bridge :) I am posting photos of Cruiser here on my blog..
As for my painting, I am going to be working on memorial paintings of Cruiser and Chin Chin.. I am also going to work on some pet portrait ornaments as well...
Sorry for disappearing on everyone :( I will be posting more as time goes on :)
Thanks for following and God Bless!

Well, Chin Chin is doing MUCH better! YAY! She is eating and drinking lots of water! Hopefully she will put on some more weight, she is still too bony :(
I am off to sleepy land now.. Long day but a productive one! Finishing up wedding orders ( I also create silk wedding flower packages) So I can get back to painting critters!! I am having paint withdrawals haha!
Nighters everyone!

Well, it was a CRAZY day today!! My ex bf (we are still friends) called me up and said his cat was really sick.. So, I went to his house to take kitty to the vet.. She has been a outdoor cat (not to happy about that but she won't be outdoors anymore!)
When I first saw her, she was cold, wet, and VERY jaundice :(
I thought it was the end for her.. Chin Chin is around 10 yrs old :(
I rushed her to the vet where they did a FELV/FIV test.. It was negative (THANK GOD!!) Next was a CBC profile.. She did have some elevated lvls with kidney and liver but they think she is going to pull through..
I am giving her subcutaneous iv fluids and steroids for the jaundice.. Hopefully she will pull out of this to live a few more years!!

I will be posting pics of this adorable kitty! Poor thing has lost her teeth so her toungue sticks out :(
So if you could say a prayer for Chin Chin, she would appreciate it so much!
